Omniverse Application Streaming API delivers on-demand, cloud-based streaming of an Omniverse Kit Application through a robust, Kubernetes-driven platform. Designed for scalability and flexibility, it leverages GPU-enabled Kubernetes clusters, containerized services, and Helm charts to provide high-performance application streaming that can be deployed across any cloud provider or on-premises infrastructure.

A typical Omniverse Application Streaming deployment consists of a Kubernetes cluster that hosts GPU-powered worker nodes and a suite of core microservices. These services handle the registration, configuration, and lifecycle management of containerized Kit applications, which are dynamically instantiated as streams. Secure access and traffic management are provided through API gateways and network load balancers, ensuring efficient and protected communication in and out of the cluster.

Developers can build and customize their own Kit applications using the Omniverse Kit Application Template. These applications can then be streamed to end-users via a web client, enabling seamless interaction with powerful, GPU-accelerated workloads—all managed by the Omniverse Application Streaming API.

Designed as a reference implementation, Omniverse Application Streaming API empowers customers to create scalable Kit Application streaming solutions.
